Backpack System
A modern and immersive backpack system with individual storage, wearable props, placeable world objects, inventory interactions, restart persistence, and extensive configuration options.
Core Features
Individual Backpack Storage
Every backpack receives a unique ID and its own inventory. Stored contents remain linked to the same backpack when it is placed, picked up, traded, or transferred to another player.
Wearable Backpack Props
Backpacks are automatically displayed on the player’s back while carried. Models, attachment bones, positions, rotations, storage capacities, and backpack priorities are fully configurable.
Placeable World Backpacks
Players can place backpacks through a right-click inventory action or a configurable command. Backpacks on the ground can be opened or picked up using interactive prompts and immersive animations.
Persistent Drops & Contents
Placed backpacks, positions, metadata, and stored contents remain persistent across resource and server restarts. The required database table is created automatically when the resource starts.
Secure Inventory Handling
Includes server-side distance validation, pickup locks, inventory capacity checks, unique item validation, and a backpack blacklist that prevents backpacks from being stored inside other backpacks.
Weight & Movement System
An optional overweight system checks the player’s regular inventory weight and restricts sprinting and movement when overloaded. Backpack contents remain stored separately and do not increase the normal inventory capacity.
Configurable & Optimized
Configure backpack items, labels, capacities, weapon storage, prop models, attachment positions, interaction distances, controls, commands, notifications, and all player-facing text.
